Barbara or Mrs B, as Dave used to affectionately refer to her, when talking to us when we lived together at University, was a kind and caring lady to everyone she knew. I will always be forever grateful for the support and advice that Barbara gave me when I was completing my teacher training application. I will also always remember the extensive information she sent me about Dave’s childhood, which I was able to use in my best man’s speech at Dave and Violina’s lovely wedding. I will also be grateful to Barbara for the keen interest she always took in both my personal and teaching life that she followed and commented on so lovingly through social media. She was such a kind and caring lady to so many different people, not least to her loving family. She will be greatly missed by so many people! Alistair Freeman Xxx
